Before you let the world mess up your soul

I forgot to mention as I was flying into Phoenix, I saw the grand canyon! It was way cool. I had never seen it before, at least that I could remember. And Phoenix is soooo dirty. :) There is no grass there. Just lots of dirt. Very deserty. I don't think I would like to live in Arizona. It's too hot and dry. Of course, it's too hot and humid for me here. Funny how I loved Florida. and then I got away and came back. Now I wonder why I liked it so much. It's too dang hot.

We woke up this morning and went to breakfast at Egg Platter (yum!) with one of mom's friends. Then we went to the commisary and I had my first run in with military shopping since my mom got out in '99. It was quite nice to see things so cheap!! We bought some fruit and healthy stuff for the trip. I maintained control, and the worst thing we bought was granola bars and peanut butter graham crackers. So I should be good on my sugar addiction.

I have 3 mosquito bites!! Im hardly outdoors enough for them to get me, and yet I've been chomped. Stupid things. I hate bug bites.

I guess I get to see incriminating photos of Keith today. I am so looking forward to that!!! You have no idea. I love pictures. Im a photo junkie!!

Just got Keith a card and thought I should share. I couldnt find any that were up to my liking, so I found one, that was perfect tina. it says "some cheesy poetry for you. i love you here. i love you there, i love you anywhere, but especially without underwear". Yes, this sounded too much like me, so I got it. Gave mom a good laugh as well. *G*

And I found out we get professional pictures done while there. *goes into a mad crazy screaming fit* IM SO EXCITED!!!! Now everyone WILL get photos for Xmas. Im buying a huge package, so Keith and I will finally have professional photos done. His fingers better not be swollen that day b/c believe me, he will be wearing his wedding ring!! Im such a picture junkie. AND I have my 2 cameras. So I am ready to go. We took some baby shower pics too, both on my film and Carries digital, so they should get up when I get back. I'm going to have a ton of pics to get framed and what not when I get back. Gotta compete with my mom's wall'o'shame.

Speaking of pics and shame, I saw a nekkid picture of Keith with chicken pox, butt all stickin out. So yes, I have something else to tease him about. Not that I needed any help. *EG*

we're leaving tomorrow by 8. I am going to bed, to see if I can fall asleep tonight, even though I am all stupidly giddy. we should make it to Columbia around 5 tomorrow. On Wed, we have a briefing at 1:30, (RAMIAH!! I will call you, maybe we can get breakfast that day. I don't know how Im going to be on time. Or maybe we can do something on Friday. I don't know what, we'll have to discuss.) I get to see Keith for the first time around 2 on Wed. Thur he graduates about 9 AM and I get him the whooooole day. So that's the plan.
